9 Ways To Live A Slow Simple Life
1. Simplify your possessions:
Consider getting rid of things that you don’t use or that don’t bring you joy. This can help you feel less cluttered and overwhelmed.
2. Slow down your pace:
Take your time with tasks and activities instead of rushing through them.
3. Prioritize experiences over material possessions:
Consider focusing on creating memories and meaningful experiences rather than accumulating more things.
4. Practice mindfulness:
Be present in the moment and pay attention to your surroundings and your own thoughts and feelings.
5. Set boundaries:
Determine what is most important to you and make time for those things. Say no to things that don’t align with your priorities.
6. Spend time in nature:
Being in nature can help you relax and feel more grounded.
7. Connect with others:
Building strong relationships with family and friends can provide support and a sense of belonging.
8. Practice gratitude:
Focusing on the things you are grateful for can help you feel more content with what you have.
9. Find ways to give back:
Volunteering or helping others can provide a sense of purpose and contribute to a sense of well-being.

Hygge Lifestyle
I am implementing a hygge lifestyle slowly and as simply as possible.
My adult life has been fast and furious with more stress and anxiety than I want to admit.
I am figuring out (at 45) that I do have some control over some of that.
While I can’t control what happens in life, I can control how I handle my part. So I am making a mindful effort to slow down and simplify.
I am desperate for a slow simple life!
Questions To Ask Yourself
Are you ready to take back control of your days with an intentional focus on what matters most?
Would you like to slow down and savor each moment instead of moving at warp speed through your day-to-day tasks?
The Answer
It’s easy to get swept up in all that modern life throws our way—but by shifting focus toward what really matters in our lives and implementing small changes over time, we can start to enjoy a more relaxed pace.

That’s exactly what I found at the DeVOL Kitchen Showroom in New York City. As someone who obsesses over design details (especially cabinetry and color!), stepping into their space was like entering my…

DIY Vintage Map Table – A Thrifted Table’s Stunning Glow-Up
This little $8 thrifted table had seen better days. When I first brought it home, it was already scratched and worn, but I needed something to sit between our leather chairs—a spot for a lamp and our morning cups of coffee. At the time, I didn’t bother refinishing it properly, and over the months, life happened: water…

Shabby Chic Doily Lantern in 5 Minutes: A Dollar Tree DIY
You know those projects that turn out sweeter than you expected? This little paper doily lantern was exactly that. I originally made it for Gigi’s birthday party (because what’s a shabby-chic celebration without twinkly lights?), but it was so darling I decided to hang it in her bedroom afterward. Now it glows above her reading…
