A Little

About Me

Hey There, I’m Amy Sadler! Cabinet Painter. Color Whisperer. Budget Design Cheerleader.

If you’ve ever stared at your home and thought, “I want this to feel beautiful, but I don’t want to spend a fortune (or lose my mind)”—you’re in the right place. I help women create homes they love without the designer price tag. Think of me as your DIY-savvy best friend who’s obsessed with paint samples, thrifty finds, and moving furniture at 11 PM (just me?).

How I Got Here

I started as a professional cabinet painter and faux finisher, but my clients kept asking, “What about the countertops? The flooring? The whole vibe?” Turns out, I had a knack for pulling together full-room designs that looked high-end but stayed budget-friendly. Hundreds of clients (and thousands of social media followers!) later, I’ve made it my mission to simplify home design for everyone.

Why Listen to Me?

  • Pro Credentials: 10+ years transforming spaces with paint, finishes, and strategic DIY hacks.
  • Real-World Results: From outdated kitchens to magazine-worthy rooms—I’ve seen (and fixed!) it all.
  • No Overwhelm, Just Clarity: I break down design choices so they’re actually understandable—then empower you to trust your instincts (because yes, you do know what you love!).

What You’ll Find on My Blog

  • Paint Secrets: The best colors for cabinets, walls, and furniture (and how to avoid costly mistakes).
  • DIY Magic: Crafty decor, faux finishes, and budget-friendly upgrades.
  • Budget Steals: Where to splurge, where to save, and how to make thrift store finds look custom.

When I’m Not Painting All the Things…

You’ll find me rearranging my living room (again), decluttering (only to fill the space back up with treasures), or hosting tea parties with my daughter, Gigi. I’m also a mom to two grown sons and a smitten grandma—so life’s never boring!
