Chateau Chic Journal Vol 5

It is almost July of 2022! Can you believe it?
I feel like 2004 was 3 years ago and 2015 was 5 years ago.
My mom always said, “Time is a vapor”. I think I am finally understanding that fully. The days are long but the years are short.
I am not a fan of extreme heat and in Missouri, it gets HOT and HUMID. It’s normally the worst in August, but it is currently 200 degrees in June so I can’t imagine what June will be like.
Will you still be my friend if I want it to be fall really soon?!?!?
However, a bright spot in the heat is that my tomato plants are doing great right now and I am hoping for so many tomatoes and peppers that I have to give tons away!
What I Am Seriously Considering
Have I told you about my Barndominium plan yet? I haven’t. Well, I am seriously considering selling my house and building a barndominium , but (big but) I am going to try to make it look like a French Country house! It is actually really fun so far!
I will be keeping you updated here in the Chateau Chic Journal first so make sure you open the email every Saturday and in my stories! Pray with me that, God willing, it all works out? Thanks!
Weekly inspiration!
My friend Michelle has a beautiful red, white and blue tablescape on a budget that I am so inspired by! My husband loves baseball and she has the most adorable way to use vintage baseballs in her decor! I am now on the hunt for vintage baseballs!

This Summer Home Tour from Renae is a dream house on the lake!

This Fantastic idea is made from vintage garden tools! It is so stinking smart and cool! I think I have some vintage items that I can recreate a similar thing!

I was instantly intrigued when I saw Yvonne from Stone Gable Blog posted about freezing an over abundance of herbs. I am soooo going to follow her method and start freezing some herbs from my garden her way right now! Genius!
