How to Dry Orange Slices

After I posted an Instagram Story about how I dry orange slices, a few of my followers asked for more information.

So, today, I’m sharing everything you need to know about this easy (and delicious) process! Keep reading to learn more.

There are so many stories about why oranges are so significant at Christmas time. I do believe that one of the truest is that during the great depression that oranges were an extravagant gift to give as they were such a treat!

There are several ways to dry orange slices. I used 2 ways and I like both.

- Regular inexpensive bag of oranges - Slice oranges at about 1/4 in slices – Parchment

Supplies Needed

Baking Orange Slices Dry You can baked your orange slices at 220* oven for 6 hours flipping them every hour or two.

Drying Orange Slices Without the Oven You can leave your orange slices on the baking sheet and parchment paper out in the open.

I would say at least 24 to 48 hours depending on your humidity.
